The challenge<\/h2>\n

OWDT needed to create a tone of voice for the brand emphasizing on brand provocative, stylish, sophisticated, and edgy qualities. The new identity needed to portray femininity and at the same time strength. Unique and easily recognized, we created a mark that is joyful and expressive but also has gravity and captures the essence of GMOVE products. We Also wanted to give this client an innovative e-commerce website that exceeds all needs and expectations, one that would also showcase our exceptional capabilities. We started with a clean, visually engaging landing page design. We then created smooth functionality with a sophisticated platform allowing for an effortless, elegant shopping and checkout experience\u2014one requiring minimal clicks and information input.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_right”]<\/p>\n

Our multidisciplinary solution<\/h2>\n

GMOVE\u2019s Landing Page displays a left-hand column menu that includes shopping, consumer messages and detailed \u201cDNA\u201d information. The latter focuses on the company\u2019s mystique with information about their model celebrities. The field to the right of the Home Page is much wider, populated with exceptionally attractive e-commerce product pics.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21490″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image_left”][vc_single_image image=”21492″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image_right no_margin”][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_left”]<\/p>\n

Navigation<\/h2>\n

We are one of the few companies in the country able to offer new, revolutionary website navigation technology. \u2013One example: when a reader is interested in one of GMOVE\u2019s offerings, the corresponding product name and price appear when the cursor hovers over the selected image. This avoids the distraction of having the information appear for all items. An eye icon and product name provide links for accessing product and checkout information\u2014with a heart icon linking to the customer\u2019s wish list.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_right”]<\/p>\n

Innovative content reveal<\/h2>\n

If you select DNA on the left column menu, we took extra effort to highlight the picture of the model described, blurring the second mode\u2019s image. The same feature is found on the shopping page. Another appealing innovation on the DNA page is that text appears magically as if the reader is typing it herself, displaying in a realistic, staggered sequence.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21495″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image no_margin”][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_left”]<\/p>\n

Typography<\/h2>\n

Central to a website\u2019s design is its typography. OWDT is one of a handful of website developers in the country with in-depth expertise in this area. We selected the stylistic, versatile Playfair Display font for its headline. It has proportionally longer height contrasted with short descenders, ideal for titles and tight spaces. It is especially suitable for custom modifications like tilting. If you visit the website, we think you\u2019ll agree that the standard and italicized version of the font create an unusually elegant contrast\u2014especially combined, as they are, with Raleway, our second font choice for standard script, noted for legibility, beauty and versatility.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_right”]<\/p>\n

Checkout simplified<\/h2>\n

Many e-commerce sites have labor-intensive checkout processes. By contrast, OWDT worked hard to create an easy, intuitive e-commerce platform for GMOVE that makes purchasing products easy and enjoyable. We are especially proud of our automation of the buyer\u2019s address with a narrowing down of the pop-up list of specific address options as a person begins inputting their information. Just a few more clicks and the item is paid for. Returning customer information also pops up when clicked at the top of the page. Done! \u2013One more groundbreaking feature we provided this client that you won\u2019t find on many other sites\u2014the shopping cart automatically sends customers an email to remind them if they get distracted and move away from the site without completing the purchase process. This required a lot of behind-the- scenes work to achieve, but the kind of challenge we at OWDT love.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21497″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image_left”][vc_single_image image=”21496″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image_right no_margin”][vc_column_text el_class=”port_col_left”]<\/p>\n

Real social integration<\/h2>\n

While most websites have some kind of link to social media, OWDT went beyond the ordinary to fully harnesses the power of social media and social sharing. A custom system was set up to offer rewards to users who share the website on social media, refer friends and follow the brand. This helps GMOVE grow its fan base and increase sales.To make it even easier for customers to use the rewards system or just to access their accounts, we also set up a social media entry point that allows them to log in or register using their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21498″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”port_image”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”ak_maxwidth”][vc_column el_class=”port_content_center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
